Pear Talent is representing a globally recognisable FTSE financial services business who have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Group FP&A Analyst in their City head office. This team provides critical business performance insight and financial planning support to the group Exec, directly influencing the company's strategic decision making. Work is often ad-hoc and project based with the potential for occasional travel within the UK and overseas.

Key accountabilities:

  • Analyse group and business unit financial performance, MI, forecasts and contribute to regular monthly reporting to the group Exec.
  • Oversee junior/PQ team members
  • Manage and develop relationships with the business units, helping to facilitate regular dialogue between business unit management and the Group office.
  • Support Investor Relations, responding to analyst/investor queries and assisting in the production of external presentations of the Group's activities and results.
  • Analyse investment proposals, acquisitions and corporate projects, on an ad-hoc basis.

Required experience:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with previous experience in a FP&A, management reporting or MI within Financial Services. Exceptional candidates directly from a leading audit practice with Financial Services experience should also apply.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication - especially given expected interaction with senior Group stakeholders as well as preparation of board material.
