GL Accountant - Mining Industry

We are looking for a GL Accountant to join as the pioneer within the Finance team here in Singapore, working closely with the company's SSC back in China.

Client Details

Our client one of the world's largest mining company in the world, being a major producer in a raw materials and rare metals. They are listed on both the SSE and HKSE and has got a strong presence In majority of the main mining sites in the world.

Description

This person will be working closely with the Group's Shared Service Centre, preparing regular financial statements, daily accounting work, handle commercial invoices and support in the treasury of the company. You will be responsible for the financial statements, semi-annual and annual reporting to the group. You will also be responsible for the statutory audit of the company and also work closely with tax agencies an all tax related matters.

Profile

You should ideally possess at least a degree in accountancy or ACCA with at a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience handling finance operations or tax related responsibilities. Proficiency in Mandarin language is a must as this person is required to work closely with the Group which is based in China.
