This company are investing to support this future growth and are recruiting a Trainee Accountant to join the finance team. This is a highly sought after opportunity as they will offer training, career development and study support for ACCA/CIMA for the right candidate.

Description

The Trainee Management Accountant role is initially a temporary to Permanent opportunity with potential for study support down the line for ACCA/CIMA.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and post month end journals for accruals, prepayments & accrued income
• Preparation of departmental management reporting packs
• Monthly P&L reviews with budget holders
• Support year end statutory accounts process
• Support with budgeting and forecasting
• Assist with finance analysis and queries from the wider business
• General finance tasks as required

Profile

In order to apply for the role you must:

Be AAT Level 3/4 studier/AAT Qualified or be an Accounts & Finance Graduate

Have practical experience month end accounting including posting accruals/prepayments

Have worked in a finance/accounts role previously

Be available to consider a temporary to permanent role

Live within commuting distance of Stockport
