About the Role:
Working in our Consumer Wealth business, the Senior Fund Accountant will beresponsible for successfully preparing and controlling the daily financial accounting for delegated superannuation funds. The role will deliver accurate and timely year end statutory reports, including tax and APRA reporting. Preparation of regular financial reports and interaction with Trustees is also an integral part of the role.

About you:
You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or in an equivalent discipline and eligible for full membership to a professional accounting body such as CPA Australia or similar. Youpossess demonstrated experience in Superannuation Fund Accounting and knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, as well as taxation. In addition, you have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create reports and set up/maintain financial procedures and are experienced in cash flow management, reconciliation and general ledger control andfinancial reporting.

- Preparation or review of daily cash flows, journals, monthly, quarterly and annual reports to Trustees
- Preparation or review of monthly/quarterly BAS Returns, Consolidated Financial Statements including Trustee accounts, and preparation/review of insurer payments
- Ensure that sufficient relevant documentation is provided for audit purposes
- Completion or review of reconciliations within SLAs and ensuring that discrepancies are followed up and reports accurate
- Maintaining integrity of the accounting systems
- Ensuring procedures are kept up to date
- Other financial activities such as input/check of unit prices and crediting rates and responding to queries from stakeholders
About you:
