Main responsibilities:

  • Performing day-to-day general ledger operations
  • Preparation and/or review of general journal entries; keeping the register of fixed assets and calculation of depreciation value 
  • Month-end closing activities; reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  • Preparation of tax and statistical declarations
  • Monthly reporting for the Group
  • Performing control activities in accordance with SOX requirements
  • Treasury activities (interest calculation, revaluation, intercompany settlements)
  • Participation in internal and external audits
  • Process improvement and optimisation
    • Requirements:
  • BA or MA in Finance, Accountacy, Business or equivalent is desirable
  • Professional experience in accounting and good knowledge of accounting standards
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of English (at least at B1+/B2- level) and French (at least B1+/B2- level)
  • Knowledge of SAP and experience in GL department would be an asset
