Management Accountant

This is a key role within the Finance function as you will be providing support to the FC with the Management Accounts, audit and analysis as well as providing support to the AP & AR function.

Description

• Preparation and reporting of management accounts.
• Management of team including purchase ledger and credit control.
• To ensure balance sheets and cashflows are accurate and reconciled.
• To provide appropriate additional analyses to support the accounts.
• To co-ordinate sales, purchase, cashbook and payroll ledgers to ensure timely and accurate closures each period.
• To assist in the year end audit including consolidations and supporting schedules.
• To assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• To assist the finance function on all commercial matters including the completion of tenders, insurance and contracts.

Profile

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong IT skills including ability to develop Business and Microsoft applications
• Experience in managing a transactional team.
• Confident and capable communicator of finance matters across the organisation
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
• An effective delegator and able to work as part of a team and alone.

Job Offer

The successful candidate will receive a salary up to £38,000 with excellent benefits package and progression opportunities.
