KPMG is currently seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to join our practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and manage fixed asset accounting method reviews and assessments by designing and implementing projects related to tangible property regulations (primarily repairs and dispositions), depreciation, and sustainability
  • Liaise with members of KPMG's Washington National Tax practice on various technical matters
  • Assist in new business development, including add-on business, while sustaining excellent client service by networking within the firm and building on existing relationships outside of the firm
  • Research technical issues, prepare reports, and propose viable solutions
  • Provide quality assurance, engagement review and exam support
  • Coordinate and collect information from architects, engineers, and contractors

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of experience within federal corporate income tax in a large accounting firm, corporation, or law firm
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Desire to focus on non-routine and non-recurring tax advisory and project related work
  • Self-starter with demonstrated high performance capabilities
  • Licensed CPA, Master of Tax, or J.D./LL.M. (Please note: any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that does not currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials or designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment)
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
