Summary:

Facebook is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its APAC finance team. The Accounting Manager is a great role for anyone looking to accelerate their learning, build new things, collaborate with cross-functional business partners & enjoy the Facebook culture. You will demonstrate exceptional communication and partnership skills along with recognizing how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. In this position you will be given the opportunity to problem solve, drive process improvements and exercise good business judgment while performing your function. This full-time position will be based in Singapore.

Required Skills:

Responsibility for financial and reporting functions for APAC entities assigned, including US GAAP monthly/ quarterly / annual close and contributing to SEC reporting cycle

Review reconciliations of varying levels of complexity and materiality and perform / review fluctuations analysis on key and material balances

Manage processes for the preparation of statutory financial statements for entities assigned and collaborate with other finance functions to review the financial statements

Assist with the preparation and co-ordination of APAC Statutory Audits and Create strong business partnerships and manage service levels with third party service providers including external accountants, consultants and auditors

Work closely with Facebook tax teams to support Corporate Tax and VAT filings

Lead and participate projects to identify, design, test and roll-out new financial reporting systems/tools/processes or other ad-hoc projects e.g. new businesses or acquisitions

Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional business partners within and outside Finance to execute Controllership Team Objectives and providing support to finance management where required including ad hoc financial analysis or special projects

Minimum Qualifications:

Recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA)

Excellent team player who is very comfortable working as part of a larger team located in different locations

Relevant industry experience with large, fast-growing, multi-national company

Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP (APAC countries)

Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel

Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

Organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

10 years of working experience preferably with APAC region exposure

Experience working with an ERP system such as Oracle, SAP

Big 4 experience

Technologies or related industries experience
