Accountant

Based in Singapore, we are looking for a highly motivated and driven Accountant to join our

headquarters! If you are looking for a place for hands on experience and making a difference in a

fast moving, agile startup environment, this might be the place for you. Fresh graduates are

You will play a vital role in day to day finance operations in the company, work closely with key

stakeholders to ensure completion and accuracy of financial reporting while being in compliance

with the local tax and audit. requirements.

We will trust you to:

• Perform monthly, quarterly and year closing of accounts including bank reconciliation and preparation of financial reporting package
• Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls, accounting standards
• Reconcile discrepancies between system and financial records and proactively seek solutions to explain and clear discrepancies
• Perform ad-hoc projects and financial analysis as assigned.

We would love to see:

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics is a must
• Fresh graduates are welcome! 1-2 years in F&A / external audit in Big 4 / finance business partnering roles in e-commerce/internet or retail industry would be a bonus
• Good knowledge of accounting and financial principles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a problem solver
• Positive, results driven with a can-do attitude, sense of analytical thinking and an eye for accuracy & detail.
• High proficiency in MS Excel and strong aptitude for data & numbers, Experience with Xero accounting system would be a plus!
