We are inviting applications for the role of BA, Pricing Analytics

As a Pricing Analyst, you would be responsible for pricing models using Predix 2.1 as the UI to develop financials as per the requested quotation provided by the client, the financials are then analyzed and calculated using Excel and other mediums of representation to form an integral part of the Time and Material sales contract within the bid process.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible to generate a price quote for Engine Overhaul Service Contracts.
  • Get a detailed understanding of the customer specific financials forecasting model.
  • Closely work with the Sales Support Directors and deal team across the globe to gather the modeling requirements of the active Deal.
  • Model the required pricing scenarios in the web based financials forecasting model.
  • Audit the financials at the different stages of the modeling process and proactively communicate with the Support team in case of any errors in the model.
  • Analyze the operational risk of each customized long term service contract and come up with appropriate hedge to report to the sales and finance leaders.
  • Propose new modeling strategies to Sales which helps in generating a competitive price quote which at the same time meets the profitability goals of the business.
  • Come up with the ideas to improve the model which impacts the accuracy of Shop Visit cost estimation.
  • Work to standardize and simplify the process using the Six-Sigma and Lean concepts, learned from the organization
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in either working or creating Statistical models is desirable.
  • Knowledge/experience in programming languages like R and Python is desirable to support Digital initiatives of the business
Preferred qualifications
  • Knowledge/experience on Digital and BI tools is preferable
  • Good understanding of Aircraft engine components is preferable
