This is a new opportunity for a candidate to work as an Interim Finance Manager for an Energy company based in East London. The role is to support the current Finance team as they experience growth and have recently acquired a new business. The Interim Finance Manager role is a 3 month contract that will be reviewed with the possibility of extension. My client is based in East London but this role will be working from home.

My client is an Energy company, specifically Oil and Gas, that specialise in research and consultancy on various different energy resources. They are looking to hire an Interim Finance Manager to assist with a very busy period.

Description

Interim Finance Manager

Roles and duties:

• Monthly/Quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• Full month-end/year-end processes
• Helping with post-acquisition integration
• Assisting with year-end audit process
• Assisting with revenue and commission reconciliation
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Reconciling the accounts receivable and payable ledgers
• Consistently chasing any late payments
• Preparing payment runs
• Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers

Profile

The successful candidate:

• Immediately available
• Worked with US based companies
• Good working knowledge of Sage Intaact
• Proficient using Excel
• Actively studying ACCA/CIMA

Job Offer

The successful candidate will be paid £40,000 - £47,000 per annum pro rata OR hourly rate of £20 - 23 p/h (inc. holiday pay).
