The opportunity:

We are currently looking for Finance Senior Accountant who will join our local finance team based in Wrocław. You will have a great opportunity to cooperate with group finance and local management team. 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Balance sheet account reconciliations preparation and review
  • Closing monthly accounting periods to ensure that all information is entered into the company’s accounting ledger accurately and make corrections as needed
  • Perform all month-end intercompany closing activities in a timely manner
  • Fixed Assets Register – recording and resolving issues with additions, retirements, disposals; posting depreciation charges
  • Posting, reconciling, describing bank statements, including descriptions and deposits after payment
  • Providing support for internal and external audits
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements through the maintenance of organized accounts and records in accordance with EY procedures
  • Responding to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Improving existing processes
  • Proceed with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests

    • Skills and attributes for success:

  • Bachelor degree in finance
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Polish Accountancy regulations
  • Good command of CIT and VAT regulations necessary to perform daily duties enumerated in job description
  • proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Strong organization and time-management skills, deadline orientation
  • Good English (written and spoken)
  • Positive, can-do attitude, with agile approach to work
  • Culturally sensitive, capable of handling interactions with a “global mindset”
