Our Global Finance Controllership Team provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

As an Indirect Tax Analyst you will support the specific language requirements to manage the Brazilian calculation, filing, payment and reconciliation of Indirect Taxes at Global Finance Organization.

As a Tax Specialist - Indirect Tax, you will be responsible for:

• Reporting to the Regional Indirect Tax Leads, to work with the other Indirect Analysts within the regional groups for the Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa and or Latin America regions to review and control all the Indirect Tax calculations from our various ERPs.
• Completing the periodic filing and payment of all Indirect Taxes (VAT, GST, Stamp Tax, With Holding Taxes, IVA, ICA, ICMS, INSS, PIS, COFINS etc.) for the country and legal entities assigned to you.
• Preparing and file all annual tax filings as required.
• Liaising with external advisor to ensure all any changes in taxes are recognized and ERPs and tax filing is updated.
• Working closely with External and Internal Auditors to assist in completion of all audits.
• Documenting and communicate abnormal tax expenses to Operations and Management.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent.
• Have minimum 3 - 5 years Indirect Tax Experience in any country and for any tax jurisdiction.
• Have a good working knowledge and understanding of Oracle and Mastersaf.
• Have experience in Blackline accounts reconciliation tool and expert in MS Excel is a plus.
• Have professional post graduate qualification in either Accounting (CPA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) or Brazilian Tax Law is a plus.
• Have a good working knowledge and understanding of Brazilian Taxation (IPI, ICMS, PIS, COFINS).
• Be able to speak and write in Portuguese and English.
