Not only will you play a key role in generating insight for our commercial teams, but you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with others – helping Primark continuously improve the reporting process as well as maintain adherence to best practices.
What we’re looking for
You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field. Having an accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) will also make your CV stand out – as will 5+ years relevant post qualification experience in FP&A or a related field.
Some of your key responsibilities would include:
Create insight for our business – and of course, yourself. We want you to emphasise the implications of the numbers and suggested actions, not just comment on variances.
Own it. The insight generation, that is. We’ll look to you for analysis of sales and salaries, margin and WC, OPEX, CAPEX and cashflow.
Identify it. Best practices to the KPIs that are used within the business, ensuring that what is measured throughout the business is correct – helping to raise potential improvements with senior management.
Bring it. Knowledge from various sources into the insights and discussions with stakeholders, looking primarily at the financial impact but also other implications.
