Payroll Advisor

Your new company
This supportive and friendly business based in Wellington CBD are seeking a like minded individual to join their growing team. You will be working for a highly respected public sector business who truly put their staff wellbeing at the heart of everything they do.

Your new role
You will ultimately be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the fortnightly payroll using Pay Global software. Your duties will include:

• Processing and checking payroll data
• Running adhoc payroll reports as and when required
• Processing ACC claim reimbursements
• Providing advice and support to employees with payroll related queries
• Proving administrative support to the wider HR team
• Contributing to the continual improvement of internal processes

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum 1 years' experience working in a payroll environment including an up to date knowledge of current HR legislation. You will have a high attention to detail, an aptitude for numerical reasoning and will also be a confident user of Microsoft Excel. It would be beneficial to your application if you have experience working with PayGlobal software but not essential. Most importantly you will be a strong communicator with fantastic customer service skills.
