Role Description & Primary Duties
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Accounting Manager will be responsible to drive the month end close process, accounts payable and receivable, fixed asset management, and provide insights of our financial statements.
Primarily Responsibilities
- Manage the AR/AP process
- Drive monthly close process, including balance sheet reconciliations, to ensure timely completion and accuracy
- Interpret financial reports and data to develop observations and preliminary recommendations
- Support variance operations analyses of key business drivers for performance vs. Plan and Forecast scenarios.
- Actively involved in developing new reporting tools and initiatives to support changing business needs.
- Participate in special projects including process improvements aimed at improving efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent discipline and 5 years of relevant experience OR Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience
- Able to communicate and make presentations to senior leadership
- Experience managing multiple and varied tasks
- Open to continuous improvement
- MS Office experience, Excel: look ups, pivot tables, PowerPoint-create presentations
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Business One, BI, Power Query, Power Pivot Experience, SQL queries
- ERP Implementation
