Job Description

TheManager - Strategic Accounting Projects will assist in representing the global controllership in finance transformation projects at Kraft Heinz. This role is primarily focused on systems implementations across the organizations as well as the enhancement of financial reporting capabilities.

This is an exciting role in an elite accounting team that will be providing unique insights to deliver on strategic vision of the organization by creating enhanced visibly, reporting, and stronger process as the business evolves. The ideal candidate for this role must be team focused, highly analytical and detail oriented, as well as being proactive in dealing with multiple functions within the business.

Key Components of the role
  • Participate in the execution of projects to help optimize all elements of the finance function
  • Execute on new project, solutions and deliverables for the rapidly changing Finance environment including but not limited to: Finance Assessment, Business Process Improvement, Shared Services Implementation, Post-Acquisitions Integration, Finance Automation, and Finance Transformations
  • Work with system owners who drive the definition, planning, and implementation of our core reporting business systems in Finance
  • Assist in the delivery and management of the prioritizedbusiness outcomeroadmap and governanceofapproved technology investments for the enhanced accounting and reporting capabilities. Ensure that it aligns with the overall corporate direction and company vision.
  • Execute on tasks that provide benefit to accounting and finance stakeholders and maintain impactful relationships with internal business partners
  • Collaborate across teams. We are a 'We culture" and win or lose as a team. Play a critical role as a liaison in creating alignment between IT teams and business partners. A collaborative attitude and ability to develop win/win solutions is essential to the job
  • Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting function and the people, process, and technology that support the finance function is required.
  • Support internal, external and SOX related audits;


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred;
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm or industry experience
  • Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills;
  • Excellent analytical, teamwork, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects, while effectively operating in a fast-paced, complex global organization with shifting schedules and priorities;
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently and achieve high quality results;
