We are looking for a BusinessAnalyst/ConsultanttoleadtheGlobalTelecomServicesatVMware.

This is a Remote Role.

You will work your magic on data analysis and, by partnering with internal teams and external vendors, you will be solving complex puzzles like wireless billing audits and wireless optimization recommendations. You will conduct vendor contract analysis, you will benchmark wireless rates and ensure supreme quality and coverage.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

You will take on the end-to-end ownership of the global mobile policy, the mobile carrier relationships, the management of spend and the full life-cycle of the mobility contracts worldwide. You will analyze the landscape, find, negotiate and bring the best-of-breed voice and data services at the most competitive prices. You will help us to bring the latest and greatest to our colleagues so they can run any application, on any device, anywhere in the world. You will get to know the emerging mobile technologies and will drive innovation.

• Responsible for the VMware's wireless policy, acceptable usage policy and the related guidelines, recommends changes and improvements
• Handles the wireless telecom life cycle including measuring, monitoring and analyzing carrier and Telecom Expense Management (TEM) vendor performance against the Key Performance Indicators
• Ensure data accuracy of the TEM database with current records of cellular services, inventory, accounts, and invoices
• Supervises and analyzes wireless invoices across multiple carriers including: audits, disputes, adjustments, allocations, approvals and payment
• Interfaces regularly with wireless services providers to resolve issues, collect information, and handle account activities/performance
• Sees opportunities to use vendor's capacity and other efficiencies to reduce overall operational cost
• Validates identified billing disputes and cost savings opportunities through historical review, telecom vendor and customer contact while providing regular management reports
• Assists with the creation and testing of new reporting processes to improve process workflows
• Builds positive working relationships with other groups and ensure timely communication on statuses, deadlines and improvement opportunities

• Maintains up to date inventory of devices and accurate records of devices distributed to employees

Required Skills:

• Strong working experience for global companies, across time zones and cultures
• At least 3 years of experience of managing external service providers in global companies, including contract management, service level agreements and dispute management
• Proficiency with Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft Excel and VBA for developing interactive reports, data manipulation, pivot tables, creating macros etc.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences
• Solid grasp of the telecom services landscape and practices for voice, data & cellular services
• Driven and autonomous, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks under little supervision; experience working in a global and collaborative environment
• Excellent command of English, other languages will be considered an advantage

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge in Mobile Device Management and Enterprise Mobility Management solutions
• Passionate about mobile devices and has good knowledge of the mobile operating systems (iOS, Android)
