Reporting to the Branch Head for Financial Accounting, you will be primarily involved in the following financial accounting & reporting activities :
  • Prepare detailed Audit Schedules of P&L and B/S items for Quarterly and Year End close
  • Prepare account reclassifications
  • Provide financial analysis of Income, expenses and B/S items
  • Assist in monthly Grant Receivables Reconciliations, together with Research team
  • Assist in monthly Management Reporting Reconciliation, together with MR team
  • Assist in monthly Preparing Funds Schedules
  • Assist in Fixed Asset management and monthly reconciliations
  • Follow up on post systems migration and integration issues
  • Liaise with different stakeholders and systems
  • Assist in ad-hoc duties/projects assigned


Requirement
  • Degree in accountancy or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a financial accounting position, prior experience in the education sector will be an added advantage.
  • Technically competent and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards/practices
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel ( including V-lookup, Pivot Table etc ) and knowledge of SAP financial system will be an added advantage.
  • A positive attitude, good time management and strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated team player, possessing good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Independent, resourceful and is able to think "outside the box"
  • Meticulous with an eye for details and able to manage stress under tight deadlines
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Contract Duration: 6 months
