A proactive leader to bring together our legal and business withsecurity reference master databases. The incumbent will work closely with the datasenior management team as well as key partners across the company to expand andtransform our legal and business mapping with security reference databases tomeet Xoriant growing needs. As a part of this team you will be responsiblefor evaluating build/buy/partnerships opportunities, constructing product/datasetroadmaps, and working with various teams across Xoriant to execute ondeliverables.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and own the vision and roadmap for the legal entity mapping and security reference master database.
  • Work with the various product and dataset leaders to ensure alignment and buy-in for the vision and roadmap.
  • Work with leadership to assess product offerings.
  • Develop key performance indicators and lead monthly program review with business partners to report on and facilitate conversations regarding KPI status, progress, resources, and risks.
  • Establish and ensure team's adherence to best practices in the creation of new data sets and the evolution of established data and analytics.
  • Liaise with global teams, including technical and product teams, to facilitate and align schedules and resources.
  • Lead and ensure efficient change management.
  • Act as a KYC subject matter expert on compliance, regulatory regulations and global KYC requirements
  • Well verse with KYC documents and good understanding on regulators mainly of US and UK - OCC, FATCA, USA PATRIOT ACT, BSA, EU Directives, MIFID I/II
  • Demonstrate self-driven user stories, use cases, and sprints.
  • Have involvement in QA and UAT on multiple sprints and align with created BRD, FRD, Test cases on the requirements received.
  • Should have worked on various vendor/open source feeds like GELIF, Bloomberg, Reuters, Telekurs, Company house data feed and have exposure on Sec fillings /10-k/8-k/etc.


Requirements:

  • Creative thinker with an analytical approach to problem solving, an inquisitive and critical mind, pays attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
  • 8-12 years' experience building entity and security master databases across multiple asset classes.
  • Deep knowledge of entity mapping across fixed income, equity, and fund structures.
  • Excellent technical, project management, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Past success working in a fast-paced environment while still producing high-quality, detail-orientated work.
  • Established ability to build collaborative relationships with key partners across regions and data universes.


Additional Requirements:

Experience managing global teams.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated use of Agile methodology is considered an asset.
  • In-depth understanding on securities reference data sources, KYC-CDD, and working on vast database will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with sequential query language.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or MBA a plus.
