effective communication between within the audit team and the client at all stages of the process.

Description
The Audit Senior will assist the manager ahead of the audit booking in preparing the assignment
Set up the audit file
Complete initial planning documentation including correspondence and reviews
Attend the client meeting with the necessary team members
Follow up with the client ahead of the agreed delivery date to ensure the assignment is on track
Set up testing across the file highlighting areas of concern
Assign audit work to your team members
Ensure initial sample requests during the planning stage
Draft an initial set of financial statements
Take ownership for issues as and when they arise
Ensure the file comprehensive and complete to an appropriate standard for manager and partner review
Update financial statements as necessary
Attend closing meeting to explain any issues
Update the draft accounts, management letter and other reporting documents following
review stages and provide to client
Complete the file by dealing with all review points raised
Close the process to final signing and filing of accounts
Ensure tax return and any other submissions required are completed
Profile
You will have the autonomy to manage your team as you see fit to achieve the agreed goals and timeframes set, acting as the main point of contact for the client an explain the priorities and purpose of the visit.
This Audit Senior position (London) will also involve an emphasis on supporting junior members of the team as well as taking
responsibility for your own continued learning.
- Must be ACA/ACCA fully qualified
- Have proven track record of leading audit teams of upto 3 and 4 at all stages of the process
- Have practical audit experience across a breadth of industry sectors
- Have experience with online audit software
- Be an effective communicator and leader both internally and externally
