The Finance team is responsible for all aspects of the corporate finance organization, including strategy, implementation, enterprise risk management and internal audit, treasury, tax, procurement and investor relations. These functional areas enable corporate profitability and success by ensuring cost savings and efficiencies, sound reporting of results and accurate forecasts.
Responsibilities
Perspecta is hiring for a Senior Accounting Manager in our Chantilly, VA office to manage and perform special general accounting functions such as:
• Pool maintenance
• Help us streamline the ICS process
• Help with the accounting system audit
• Help review PT's work when it comes to the pools as the indirect team don't want to do that anymore
• Help streamline the FY22 pools
Works with the Assistant Controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit. Responds to inquiries from the Assistant Controller or Controller, and other finance and company-wide managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests.

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's Degree plus 12-15 years of job related experience or a Master's Degree plus 10-13 years of job related experience is required
- A minimum of 4 years of management level responsibility is required.
- Specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and a general knowledge in 1-2 other areas is desired
