Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for the accounting functions, management reporting and all aspects of the monthly accounting close. Duties for the Senior Accountant include timely and accurate monthly analysis and reporting within assigned deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the preparation and completion of all tasks associated with the monthly accounting and closing cycle; Prepare monthly account reconciliations, journal entries, monthly variance results, and prepare monthly reporting schedules; Analyzes performance reports, margin account variance analyses, key operating statistics, price/volume variances and operating results on a monthly basis; Handle audit inquiries Applies experience, knowledge, analytical skills, and leadership skills to solve issues, establish efficient accounting processes/procedures and controls, and work prioritization.
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance; Three to six year of experience as a degreed accountant; Strong understanding of (GAAP); Proficient with Excel and accounting software.
