SGUnited Traineeship: Global Treasury - Quantitative Developer
Job Description
This role based with the FO quant team; he/she will work closely with senior quants in the development arm of the team and to help build in-house pricing solutions, perform market data analysis, research on pricing models or trading ideas. It is a highly hands-on position and heavy amount of coding (Python or .NET) is expected in the daily work.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside with senior quants and traders, to help - maintain in-house front-to-back solutions;
- Streamline, automate and optimize the desk workflows;
- Assist to maintain and develop in-house backtesting framework;
- Work on ad-hoc research and experimental projects; Qualifications
- Degree from Computing, Science (Math, Stats, Physics etc) or Engineering
- Strong programming skill is a must, ideally hands on experience of Python and .NET;
- Good knowledge of math and analytical mind-set;
- Good communication skills, able to work independently and multi-task;
- Experience with web development is an advantage
