Accountant

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for an Accountant in Vancouver, BC.

Our client, A Vancouver based real estate development company with projects across the province is looking to add a Senior Accountant to report directly to ownership to oversee the business's accounting functions.

The Role:

• Full Cycle Accounting responsibilities - Including Financial Reporting, Variance Analysis, Payroll, GST and Budgeting.
• Fully oversee and administer upgrades and implementation.
• Reconciling intercompany transactions and legal filings.
• Working with ownership to monitor and control various projects.
• Tracking invoices and assisting with authorization of contracts.
• Consistently presenting financials to ownership.
• Liaising with CRA for related issues.
• File and administer monthly or quarterly GST return for all companies.
• Reconciling all balance sheet accounts.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Preference will be given to candidates who can speak and write in Mandarin fluently.
• 5-8 years full cycle accounting experience.
• Highly professional with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Highly motivated individual who wants to play a major part in the day to day operations of the business.
