They are seeking a capable and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time and permanent basis in a varied and exciting role. Please find below the main responsibilities involved.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales and purchase ledger maintenance including their month end procedures
- Maintaining the Cashflow spreadsheets for the Finance Director
- Assisting the Accountant with Budgets and Forecasts
- Quarterly VAT calculations and submissions including reconciliation of VAT submissions
- Producing P11D's to employees and submitting to HMRC
- Monthly payroll processing and pension calculations including handling pay queries and furlough calculations
- HMRC PAYE calculations and submissions
- Completing the payroll journal and monthly running of payroll reports/closure
