The Credit and Structured Products Officer will work as part of a team dedicated to providing CLO / bank loan fund and Loan Administration services to Debt funds. The role requires prior knowledge and expertise in structured products. Strong analytical skills, market awareness and strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain partnerships with clients is essential.Key Responsibilities: Verify all the components of deal administration of a CLO/ bank loan fund: cash reconciliation, settlement of trades (loan/bonds) and cash ledger maintenanceCalculate various portfolio statistics, ratios and thresholds for use in hypothetical trading scenarios and periodic reporting Use proprietary system to allocate a collateral pool’s payments to various bondholders, swap counterparties, and investment managersResponsible for developing value added partnerships with clients to assist in deliverables and improving process and techniques to improve efficiency and deliveryResponsible for ongoing transaction deliverables where applicable for ProductLiaise with business partners (Technology, Legal, Compliance, Relationship Management) to ensure highest client service levelsAbility to converse confidently with asset managers Provide innovative client solution
Experience, Education & Qualifications: Candidates should have between three to five years of experience within Structured ProductsStrives for high standards of delivery to clientsWill generate ideas for improvement based on previous experienceAbility to work with team membersCommunicates (verbally and through written work) information in a clear and concise mannerWill manage stakeholders’ expectations with regards to delivery, escalating concerns as appropriateUnderstands and applies control and risk and governance frameworks consistentlyIs financially mindful of personal impact on this businessActs with integrityTrustworthy team member who considers those around them
