Excellence Corporate Expert (Finance)

This role will serve as the responsible transmitter of information and mentoring of VSA by specific Lean subject. You will extend a specific Lean subject matter across the enterprise through training and mentoring.

Description

• To function as the Lean subject matter expert for the entire enterprise. This includes information transmissions between corporate and the respective Business experts as it relates to the specific discipline of study. This includes requests for KPIs, requests for business information, and requests for status updates for specific items (open actions, best practices sharing, etc.) Role will roll-up all applicable SME information for summaries to corporate.
• Partner with Business experts across the company to create Value Stream Maps and Kaizen strategic plans based upon Value Stream Analysis.
• Address understanding gaps through developed training materials.
• Conduct training to specific corporate functions and provide mentoring of the specific advance Lean subject topic through VSA.
• Study and bring new concepts from specific Lean discipline to the company and develop new training to extend new concepts to enterprise.
• Identify talent within the enterprise to be developed further in Lean specific discipline.
• Work with business experts to understand capability development needs in specific Lean discipline.
• Elevate priorities voiced from Business experts as appropriate.
• Responsible to transfer all knowledge in Lean discipline to Central Corporate Manager.

Profile

• 10+ years' experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies for specific discipline
• Experience with deploying Value Stream Analysis and Kaizens in specific Lean discipline
• Experience teaching and mentoring specific Lean discipline
• Familiarity with quality management systems
• International Experience
• Strong knowledge of enterprise and corporate processes
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Able to employ key programs and metrics into corporate functions seamlessly
• Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal
• Strong executive presentation skills
• Ability to build relationships up, down, and across the organization
• Ability to interface with all levels of the organization but especially with C suite
• Ability to interface with organizations outside IVL (customers and suppliers)
• High energy, periods with a high degree of autonomy
• Strong oral and written communication skills (English)
• Strong time-management skills
