About the Job:

You'll be working for a reputable banking company who is looking for Business Analyst focusing on compliance gap remediation and working on data relating to CDD, AML and regulatory. This is a 1 year contract and to be based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive, review and execute data analysis tasks using Excel and Alteryx that cover extensive data from multiple bank systems spanning across all relevant markets and business segments. This includes data extraction, data validation and output generation.
  • Support the project team to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that they can execute on their accountabilities in relationship to the project.
  • Support the project team in the relevant analysis on the impacts of the other projects in the Bank on the Client List process in the team, and develop/implement respective action plans.
  • Provide analytics and insights to the project team; for consumption of management, key stakeholders and the greater network based on generated MIS and other obtained data.
  • Provide MIS support to the project team as well as project stakeholders as needed.
  • Safeguard all project data by ensuring strict adherence to information communication guidelines polices as well as data storage/archival procedures.
  • Working on data relating to CDD, AML, regulatory.
  • In addition to current workload, supporting CLDM (client lifecycle design and management) on the additional initiative.

Job Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate comes with minimum 5-6 yrs experience in Business Analysis as Data Analyst, experienced in data conversion/reporting.
  • Some exposure/ basic experience in Alteryx is a must as we can train this person if the person has some basic programming or tech knowledge in Alteryx.
  • Skilled in documentation and drawing workflows, BRD. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to identify gaps/problems and provide insights/suggestions to the project team based on the analysis.
  • Secondary skillset is SQL. Else the person should come with Power BI and Tableau.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Macro).
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Applications/ Information Systems.
  • Sound knowledge of executing agile/waterfall projects.
  • Ability to write and do simple powerpoint deck, present to the project team to show the analysis work and display analytical thinking.
  • Ability to draw or write process flows.
  • This role is open to PR, Singaporean and EP holder (minimum 1 month notice period) based in Singapore.
