Head of Risk Analytics

About the Role

They say no man is an island, and this holds true here at Gojek. As Head of Risk Analytics, your main objective would be reporting risk metrics and creating actionable insights for various Risk teams. Working alongside our Group Head of Risk Management, you will own Key Results for the Risk Analytics function, build a robust risk reporting framework, and act as a thought leader for the overall Risk Management function. You will be the chief pilot of a diverse group of individuals stationed in different parts of this region, banding together to propel our beloved Gojek to all corners of the globe��.
What You Will Do

• Categorize risk into different types and build metrics around measuring and mitigating these risks
• Build a system for categorizing risk into different levels, and formulate associated oversight & mitigation structures
• Quantify risk from different individual businesses, while also incorporating the diversification and strategic benefits at the organization level
• Build a holistic view of organizational risk - build visualizations and dashboards for presenting to executive management
• Work extensively with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers
• Manage day-to-day & long term initiatives of the direct reports, and not only be a role model to help them produce high quality of work but also coach them on their personal development
• Influence roadmaps of partner teams, including the wider Risk organization, Data Science, Engineering, Product Management, Operations and Finance
• Communicate with leadership and key stakeholders on a regular basis on status, health, and opportunities to combat fraudulent activities

What You Will Need

• At least 8 years of experience in analytical, problem-solving roles in a fast-paced environment (prior experience in risk management is preferred)
• Excellent organizational agility at prioritizing tasks, aligning a large group of stakeholders and getting things done
• Strong in people management, should have at least 3 years of experience in managing & mentoring direct reports
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and present them clearly and coherently to various stakeholders
• Adept at managing both structured & unstructured data and using visualization tools
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills focused on improving collaboration, knowledge, and information exchange across various stakeholders
