Description

This Senior Management Accountant role will be reporting directly to an experienced Finance Director who is looking to help develop / mentor an ambitious qualified accountant; this Senior Management Accountant role offers a clear opportunity to progress into a Financial Controller position.

You will manage a team of 3 transactional level colleagues and help to coach / develop them. As such, there may be times when you have to be hands on with some payroll / intercompany intrastate matters

Take full ownership of the monthly management accounts process & commentary

Producing/reviewing the Periodic Management Accounts with group consolidations

Variance Analysis & KPI management

Help to understand any project costings / margin interrogation

Helping the business in a commercial manner to deliver targets

Pricing responsibilities

Use of reporting / forecasting tools, business partnering with the sales / commercial teams to drive performance

Input to the yearly financial planning & budgeting process

Maintenance of fixed asset register

Supporting with yearly audit

Working closely with the Finance Director to drive for efficiencies and improvements

Using strong excel skills to understand and interpret data, working off the ERP system

Profile

The successful candidate for this Senior Management Accountant role will receive a 42-45k salary dependent on experience.

You will also be joining a thriving & secure business, with a reputation for looking after colleagues and encouraging longevity in service.
