The opportunity

We are looking for a Manager tojoin our Assurance team in our Brisbane office. This role is offered on a flexiblefull-time basis. You will play a key role in driving growth by developing newand existing client relationships, leading highly skilled project teams anddelivering a first-class customer experience on high-profile engagements. Your key responsibilities
  • Leadingaudit engagements, defining audit strategies, managing team performance andkeeping engagement leaders updated
  • Effectivelymanaging Audit processes with appropriate consideration of audit risk issuesand accounting technical matters
  • Coachand mentor other less experienced staff through sharing experience andknowledge
  • Engagingclients and providing authoritative advice and professionalism throughouttransactions, including identifications of improvements in business processesand possible recommendations and prepare and deliver these to clients.
  • Constantlydeveloping your understanding of current market trends and processes andsharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues
  • Understandingour clients' unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues inother teams and areas to broaden our business relationships where possible


Skills and attributes forsuccess
  • 6+years' experience as an auditor
  • Demonstratedexperience delivering external audit and assurance engagements at Manager level
  • Experienceleading the planning, execution and reporting on audits
  • Proventrack record with developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Excellentcommunication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management
  • Expertisein accounting frameworks (IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters.
  • Arecognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA)


Ideally, you'll also have
  • Knowledgeof current market issues in Australia
