The Manufacturing Accounting project is improving and standardising the end-to-end manufacturing accounting processes, delivering a more granular level of cost accounting to enable site and brand level decision making. You will provide the necessary leadership and influencing in defining the global MAP benefits management approach and realisation - investigating across all Manufacturing Sites and Processes where the forecast benefits will be realised, identifying further opportunities, quantifying all identified benefits and updating those findings back to Business Case. Ensuring the business are aligned to the realisation of the benefits once the project is live.

To be successful candidates will need to have experience in business case designing best practise performance measurement processes in pharma industry, process re-engineering skills (e.g. Lean Six Sigma), solid working knowledge of SAP & BI, superior influencing capabilities, major change measurement capability and ability to lead a team. You will be working closely with the MAP Programme leadership and business sponsors to agree the benefits realisation strategy and embed this ongoing capability into the business.

Your new role!

Business Case/Benefits
  • Throughout the duration of the programme, you will work with the Manufacturing Accounting Global Process Owner (GPO) and MAP Workstream leads to update the MAP business case, preparing it for periodic CFO reviews and approvals
  • Work closely with the Global Process owner and key business sponsors impacted by MAP to define and develop the sustainable, ongoing approach to Manufacturing Accounting benefits management and realisation
  • Using the agreed approach, create and implement the overall benefits realisation plan including launch, mobilisation and regular senior stakeholder feedback
  • Train business colleagues in the agreed approach of how to sustain and continuously improve our Manufacturing Accounting benefits realisation capability
  • Support Stakeholder mapping and action delivery
  • Support MAP project reporting processes and input to weekly team meeting status updates etc.


Your essentials qualifications, skills and experiences:
  • Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Accounting experience
  • Business Case creation experience
  • Benefits management experience
  • First-rate coordination, collaboration, organization and multi-tasking skills
