RESPONSIBILITIES

Our client, an audit, tax and consulting network accounting firm (TOP 10 in SG) is looking for a highly energised and passionate leader to build, lead and grow the Outsourced Accounting Business Solution arm, serving professionals, business owners and staff of clients and non-clients. They serve small businesses to large enterprises, in value-added accounting services, cloud accounting for small businesses to innovative services.

They focus on growing businesses, helping them to improve profits, enhance business value and internationalise.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of accounting staff serving portfolio of clients
  • Being a professional financial expertise in meeting basic to complex accounting and financial related requirements for the clients
  • Review accounts prepared by the accounts assistants/seniors;
  • Managing, coaching, mentoring and building high performance teams
  • Resource planning, ensure cost effectiveness and work efficiency of assignments and business operations
  • Responsible for growing both new and existing portfolio of clients
  • Passionate in building, leading and growing the business to serve a great diversity of clients in various industries

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree or relevant post graduate/professional accounting qualifications
  • At least 6 years of experience with 3 years in a public accounting firm
  • Hands on in handling full set of accounts & supervisory skills
  • Proficient user of cloud accounting software (eg ACCPAC/Business Central/Xero/QBO)
  • Handling a portfolio of clients in various industries will be advantageous
  • Able to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines
  • Strong technical and problem solving skills
  • Possess passion, initiative and an analytical mind
  • Strong interpersonal and business writing and communication skills
  • Proactive, committed and able to work under pressure
  • Drive for client service excellence
  • Ability to lead a team of like-minded professionals
