- Work with the Board of Directors to develop roadmap for the investment strategy of the company
- Conduct financial due diligence on potential investments
- Advise on deal structures (including legal terminology common in Share Subscription Agreement/ Shareholders agreements) for all investments undertaken by the company
- Develop and maintain strategic financial and risk management policies and ensure compliance
- Ensure internal controls and SOPs are in place and reviewed regularly and all statutory documentation and corporate secretarial records are complete
- Ensure all functions of the company are in line with the constitution of the company
- Manage all finance matters which includes assisting with the preparation of Singapore tax computations and tax lodgement and provide support with external tax specialists on international tax matters
- Manage and maintain the financial books of accounts and the monthly NAV for the fund as per Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
- Set the annual budget for the company's operations and getting the same approved by the Shareholder
- Ensure all reporting and statutory obligations/filings of the Company are complied with as per the Singapore Law
- Manage service providers engaged by the Family Office, including lawyers and other consultants as required
- Liaise with auditors to complete the year end audits
- Represent the company whenever required (which are so authorized by the shareholders of the Company)
- Maintain and uphold the reputation of the organisation and to not do anything that could dishonor the company
- Maintain confidentiality at all times about important company information.
- Degree in Accounting or Business Finance
- Good knowledge of fund accounting with at least 6 years of relevant experience preferably in Big 4
- Strong knowledge of the Indian market, investment deal terms and regulations
- Proven experience in deal-making including advising for startup investments and M&A
- Good knowledge of International Taxation and Accounting including regulatory aspects, especially for India
- Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills
- Prior global work experience would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong project management skills
