Accounting Generalist

Sundance Property Management specializes in the acquisition and management of investment properties throughout the Midwest. Today our company owns and manages over 50 real estate properties, including apartment units and mobile home pads.

We are currently seeking a full time Accounting Generalist to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

• Post daily deposits, handle credit card receipt reconciliation and ACH reconciliation
• Print out monthly statements for vendors and collect on past due balances
• Enter payment information into the Appfolio system
• Review and distribute invoices and expense reports
• Enter invoices into computer database from vendors
• File internal work orders, open and paid invoices and daily reports
• Research and solve payment discrepancies
• Process credit card applications, payments and refunds
• Make adjustments to accounts as needed
• Scan checks into the Company bank account and processes bank deposits and Section 8 payments
• Cross-train in other departments as needed
• Send necessary paperwork to the attorney's office to collect on delinquent accounts
• Review bank deposits from Property Managers to check for accuracy and ensure that checks were scanned in correctly
• Verify that charges on the tenant ledger are accurate
• Create the rent rules for new properties in the Appfolio system for the Property Managers
• Handle all new utility transfers and start-ups
• Pay monthly mortgages for properties

Requirements:

• One year of previous AR experience
• A High School Diploma or GED
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
