Overview
Our Client are a leading international trading organisation, with a broad operational remit. They currently have a requirement for an experienced Assistant Accountant, working directly into the Finance Manager.
Role Profile
* Assist the Financial Manager (as one of three Assistants in the department)
* Ledger posting in JDE accounts
* Reconcile and monitor supplier accounts
* Preparing bank payments
* Post supplier invoices
* Fixed assets
* Any other ad hoc duties as required by manager
Person Profile
* Good accounting knowledge and reasonable practical experience
* Excellent IT knowledge particularly with Excel
* Able to work with minimal supervision
* Prepared to work to tight deadlines
* Accurate, with attention to detail
* Good organisational skills
* Able to work as a part of a team
* Good sense of humour
