Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Equity Accounting
You will be responsible for Financial Accounting and Reporting, Investment Accounting, Reporting under IAS 28/Ind AS 28/ US GAAP on Associates, Regulatory Reporting, Disclosures on Investments etc.,
Responsibilities
- Ability to understand the Technical Accounting, Reporting & Valuation for Investments in Associates, Joint Ventures
- Understand Reporting requirements of Accounting standards IAS 28/ US GAAP on Associates. Calculate Valuations, prepare Accounting entries for investments in Associates based on Equity method for Investments
- Work with Business Partners, Group Consolidation and Technical Accounting Group to understand, source the information, required disclosures and translate them in to Accounting and Reporting adjustments
- Post final adjustment entries at M-end in ERP
- Check the reported numbers in Consolidation tool and work with Group Reporting team on any final adjustments
- Support Final disclosures on Equity Disclosure process
Minimum qualifications
- Qualified CA with experience in Financial Reporting, Preparation of Statutory Accounts
- Good communication and drafting skills
- Proficient level knowledge of Excel, SAP/Oracle
- Exposure to Consolidation tools like Cognos/ SAP FC/ BPM
- Prior team leadership skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
