Work for a global company based in the Macquarie Park area as the Tax Accountant. This is initially a 6 month role with longer term prospects. This role will give you the opportunity to work in a small close knit team and to work across Australia and New Zealand tax. This role is based in the Macquarie Park area and is easily accessible by public transport and has parking on-site.
As the Senior Tax Accountant you will reporting into the Senior Tax Manager and will be responsible for the tax compliance, accounting and advice for Australia and New Zealand.

As the Senior Tax Accountant you will reporting into the Senior Tax Manager and will be responsible for the tax compliance, accounting and advice for Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of tax returns, including Excise, payroll tax, fringe benefits and income tax returns
- Preparation of Tax Effect Accounting and tax reporting requirements
- Assist in the review and analysis of monthly tax submissions, including preparation of commentary here required
- Review and analysis of quarterly tax submission, including preparation of commentary when required
- Liaising with external advisors and auditors as required in relation to tax compliance matters
Key Requirements:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Minimum 3 + years corporate tax and advisory experience in corporate accounting or tax team
- High level of expertise with GST, FBT and payroll tax
- Alternatively, this role could be suited to someone who has had some exposure to Tax in a financial accounting/accountant capacity and would be interested in pursuing a pure Tax position.
