  • $87,640 - $99,438 (Plus Superannuation)

The position of Business Financial Analyst forms a part of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer branch within the Global Victoria group.

We do this by building the export capability of Victorian businesses, connecting Victorians to global trade opportunities through our international network of 22 offices, promoting our world class industry capabilities to international audiences and seeking to attract and retain the best global talent through migration. We take a leadership role for global engagement across Government and advocate for the best policy settings for Victoria to be globally competitive.

Reporting to the Senior Business and Finance Manager, the key accountabilities of the role include:
  • Assist in Global Victorias governance and compliance with relevant legislation, finance and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Support the accurate and timely completion of month end processes and assist the Senior Finance and Business Manager to deliver on recording and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare all relevant reconciliations to the general ledger.
  • Undertake month and year-end processes.
  • Assist the Senior Finance and Business Manager to develop and maintain systems, processes, tools and templates.
  • Manage the Groups Accounts Receivable function including assisting branches with collection activities.
  • Undertake projects, initiatives and functions as required by management.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in financial analysis within a complex environment coupled with well-developed conceptual and analytical skills. You pride yourself on your desire to do things precisely and accurately with a strong eye for detail and take accountability and ownership of the role by creating your own pathway.
