You'll enjoy a varied workload in this role, from leading teams in external audits of some prestigious clients through to statutory accounts preparation, and mentoring junior members of staff in accounting and tax matters.
Ideally you'll be a fully qualified ACA or ACCA. If the right candidate happens to be unqualified or part qualified however, my client will keep an open mind and can offer study support. Unfortunately candidates without previous experience in the profession can't be considered due to the technical elements involved in the role.
From a personality perspective, my client is a fun loving and sociable firm, so they're looking for vibrant people who fit the mould. You'll be a strong communicator as the role will involve liaising with a broad network of stakeholders, and you'll be able to demonstrate the credibility to operate as a trusted business advisor to your clients.
