About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader within the Noon Finance Team working for the biggest site!

Operations Finance Lead as a Key Member of the Windmill Lane Senior Leadership Team, supporting the delivery of business & finance functional objectives. Leading the business strategy and deployment across one business to drive quality decision making and managing business performance. Embed a culture of continuous improvement and development. To ensure operational performance is maximised bringing brilliant financial insights & analysis to aid financial/business decisions to drive profitability in the short, medium and long term.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Winning Performance:

  • Member of the SLT delivering on strategic, operational, financial support and leadership across the 4 Noon sites through empowering Site Finance Leads/Accountants across Windmill Lane, Spurway, Collett Way and Dean Way to deliver business performance and growth targets.
  • Taking a lead role in target setting and performance management to translate the business priorities into performance goals and growth plans across all Noon sites.
  • Partner with Business Leaders to identify and recommend opportunities to maximize profitability and seek out game changing ideas, inspire bigger picture stretched thinking.
  • Delivery of performance metrics, identifying variances and understanding opportunities and risks. Stay close to performance and follow regularly to track progress.
  • Delivery of Noon Financial targets.
  • Be recognized for bringing insights and ideas that influence and shape the business.
  • Clear and stretching targets for all functions and teams.
  • Track progress.
  • Regular meeting with Stakeholders.
  • Strategy & Deployment:

    Business priorities, Big Bets, Operationally across all 4 Noon Sites

  • Partner with Business Leaders to Identify and recommend future strategy for each site to incorporate cost saving initiatives, maximize operational efficiency, operational footprint and customer configuration.
  • Prioritize, manage, allocate and reallocate resources across key projects and key areas of business priority.
  • Champion change making different decisions for the good of the business, test new and different ways to simplify and improve.
  • Strategy on a page for each site.
  • Project plan for each site.
  • Resources allocated to key strategic drivers.
  • Influence direction of business to maximize profitability.
  • Insight & Analysis:

    Provide financial insight and analysis for the Noon business performance.

  • Develop and embed standard analysis processes across the Noon business.
  • Challenge themselves and others in an informed way to reduce costs and grow margin.
  • Bring clarity and rigor to data, capture and incorporate the best insight to help generate workable solutions.
  • Effective models for evaluation and analysis developed and implemented.
  • Regular meetings with stakeholders.

  • What experience and skills are we looking for?

  • CIMA/ACCA Qualification
  • 3+ Years relevant Business experience
