Excellent opportunity to forge a long and rewarding career within the accounts dept. of a well established international company, and based locally in Stockton on Tees.
(During the current pandemic, the Stockton staff are generally working from home, staying connected on Microsoft Teams and using the Stockton office as a hub).
Unlike some other accounting type positions, this role is very interesting and varied, with the company operating internationally with imports and exports in multi currencies. There is a manufacturing element to the company's activities, thus a detailed stock system and job costing system is in place. The successful applicant will be operating JD Edwards software.
You can expect to be responsible for sales invoicing, cash collection summaries, letters of credit, month end reports, etc.
Previous experience of JD Edwards or SAP would be preferred, and applicants should have a minimum 5 qualifications at GCSE standard or equivalent, including Maths & English
