Page 1 is excited to be working in partnership with a Global content broadcast platform (video) that is currently on the lookout for a Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial expert who is passionate about all things Tech and Digital.
As a business still in its infancy, our client has managed to create a brand that is set to change the way we consume entertainment in our homes. The ideal person for this role will be someone who would be willing to get their hands dirty and join a "StartUp" who are breaking the mould! The last 12 months have truly brought in some fantastic change for the business with the addition of 20+ heads into the business as well as establishing a real presence in both the UK and US markets.
Working with some of the top Record labels as well as A-List artists across the globe, our client has created a platform whose uniqueness is truly powered by the team they have created.
Some of the services they offer include:
* International content broadcast platform
* Organising and putting together Live events globally
* Video Production
* Top of the range commercial recording studio
About you
* Qualified member of an accountancy body (or equivalent qualification)
* A great communicator with an approachable personality
* Strong business acumen
* Good at automation
* Critical thinker
* Experience with Ecommerce platforms
* Strong IT Skills
Bonus points
* Experience working in the Music/Entertainment industry
Key Responsibilities
* Working closely with the CEO, Finance Director, the board of Directors, Head of Departments and Project Managers
* Overall control of the company's finance and accounting functions
* Creating the financial systems in the business
* Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
* Close involvement with commercial negotiations
* Formulation of annual budgets and targets
* Preparation and submission of weekly and monthly updates
* Analysing performance against budgets
* Looking at ways to optimise all projects
* Grow, lead and develop the finance team
* Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
* Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties
