Cyber Risk Manager

Cyber Risk Manager - Bank - Singapore

Our client, a forward-thinking market leader in the Singaporean banking industry, wants to take its risk management game one level up - and you can be the Cyber Risk Manager that leads it.

You will be a visionary, working closely with the Head of Operational Risk and the respective Tech and IT Risk Managers to engineer innovative cyber controls within the bank's initiatives. You will build an end-to-end view of the risks facing the bank within the Cyber space, develop the bank's cyber control strategy and being a key influence to the bank's wider operational risk management strategy.

You will be expected to:

• Leverage on your expertise of technology and the cyber threat landscape in order to shape the bank's risk management framework and initiatives
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders in both tech and business to support the achievement of the Operational Risk Management function's strategic goals
• Support and constructively challenge the business and senior stakeholders, mitigating risks and designing control solutions that will protect the bank and enable to it to grow digitally
• Be brave and innovative in visualising fresh approaches and new ideas.

What we'll need from you:

• Information/cyber security experience in a risk or consultancy capacity, ideally with some experience dealing with such risks in a banking setting
• A background in technology
• A deep knowledge of cyber threats and impact to the banking landscape, coupled with knowledge of the cyber kill-chain methodology,
• Proficiency in the management of cyber incident response,
• Experience in driving change and improving processes at pace,
• Proficiency in the use of cyber frameworks to establish the correct level of agility, governance and risk mitigation,
• Able to converse clearly and tactfully in communication to senior stakeholders across the business and tech space, and
• Proven track record of risk/threat mitigation.
