- Develop M&A strategy with China senior leadership team and corporate M&A team in line with LRP
- Identify M&A targets/opportunities by leveraging external advisors and corporate M&A team
- Maintain and develop relationships with potential acquisition candidates while strategically engaging
- In partnership with corporate M&A team, manage due diligence process for China consistent with corporate M&A processes and procedures
- Monitor and study of government policy as it relates to foreign investment, the industry dynamic, segment profiling, investment strategy and model
- Drive internal consensus on potential acquisition opportunities and drive negotiation & deal structuring in partnership with corporate M&A
- Provide industry overview(s) and educate China leadership on local M&A market dynamics
- Maintain relationships with local government authorities, external financial advisory firms and law firms in support of China M&A actions
- Lead China acquisition integration efforts
- Other responsibilities and tasks related to business development
