Service Charge Accountant

Following a large restructure a progressive housing association is in need of a Service Charge Accountant

Your new company
A growing housing association looking for an additional team member that can hit the ground running as they kick start the new year with a new structure and an extremely strong drive towards growth.

Your new role
As a service charge accountant you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks

- Preparing income and expenditure reports and associated documents to be sent out to external accountants for preparation of service charge accounts.
- Taking ownership for ensuring year end service charge accounts are completed on time.
- Liaise with external parties including clients, tenants, and suppliers to resolve queries.
-Assist with collection of service charge arrears.
- Preparing bank reconciliations.

What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in a similar capacity within property or housing
- Experience working with Service Charge Accounts
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- A driven attitude towards work and supporting other team members efficiently when required
