Client Finance Manager

Our client, a global market leader in its specialist field, is looking to source a talented and credible Client Finance Manager to join its high performing team. The role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and whilst initially an interim role, you may also be considered for the permanent recruitment that is upcoming, should you fit well in the team.

Key duties include: * Overseeing month end and year end close activities, from balance sheet and cash reconciliations to financial statement preparation * Ensuring accurate preparation of accounting statements and reports * Overseeing VAT compliance, corporate tax returns etc. * Implementing and leading client activity team meetings * Reviewing processes and ensuring there is a high level of service quality through training, knowledge sharing and mentoring junior staff * Collating team metrics * Supporting Senior Management in any changes in initiatives * Ad hoc projects * Acting as the first point of escalation for client issues or technical matters * Supporting Senior Manager with employee engagement plans, ensuring there is a collaborative and supportive team environment * Taking part in the performance review process

Key skills & experience required: * ACA/ACCA Qualified * Proven track record in a similar client facing role, as well as leading others * Proactive and positive approach to problem solving * Excellent written and verbal communication * Analytical mind set with ability to build on existing ideas and processes * Strong organisational skills, can priorities and deliver to strict deadlines
