We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join the newly established Commission for Gender Equality in the Public Sector as Senior Business Analyst: Reporting Platform.

In this key role, you will have the opportunity to implement a critical aspect of a once in a generation legislative change designed to significantly improve gender equality outcomes for the Victorian public sector.

As the Senior Business Analyst: Reporting Platform, you will be responsible for facilitating the development of an online reporting platform as part of the implementation of the Gender Equality Act. Duties will include, but are not limited to, translation of user and business needs into technical features of the platform, technical coordination of configuration, testing, and launch of the platform, maintaining a close working relationship with developers to ensure quality outcomes, and provision of end-user training and technical support.

The role requires experience in supporting delivery of high-quality IT projects under time pressure in a complex and sensitive environment. You must be a proactive self-starter with an understanding of government processes and risk management in an IT context. Experience in and/or understanding of using data and technology to drive social policy outcomes, in particular gender equality, would be valued.
