Divisional Profile

The Institutional Equity Division (IED) is a global leader in the origination, distribution and trading of equity, equity-linked and equity-derivative securities. The Firm’s equity Sales & Trading operations provide liquidity, distribute content, and create product solutions to help our clients generate alpha.

Team Profile

The Corporate Trading desk trades derivatives and financing instruments for large stakeholders in public and private companies. As a new initiative, the Fund Financing part relates to financing for large holders of private equity interests traded in the secondary market.

Primary Responsibilities

Pre-trade responsibilities:

  • Analysing fund-financing transactions including fund diligence
  • Legal review of documents, risk analysis, valuation analysis
  • Preparing transactions memos for various internal committees.
  • Post – trade responsibilities:

  • Booking & maintenance of cashflows/interest
  • Risk management
  • Monitoring, including management of large datasets.
  • Qualifications

  • Ability to review complex legal documents
  • Private equity fund due diligence previous experience preferred but not required
  • Economic and valuation background with strong excel skills.
